_Mission_

# Autonomous protection for an autonomous world.

The next enterprise is already taking shape. People and AI agents work side by side, cloud is the foundation layer, and applications are being rebuilt to run at machine speed. Analysts expect a third of enterprise applications to embed agents by 2028, and at least 15% of day-to-day work decisions to be made autonomously — by software, not by people.1

Three things change everything. **Decisions move to machines** — agents do not just execute, they choose: which service to call, which data to fetch, what to run next. **People move from in the loop to on it** — setting the rules and reviewing what changed, not approving each step; an agent that pauses for a human at machine speed loses the speed that justified it. And **the stack starts to run itself**: self-healing, continuously trained, growing without a change ticket.

That is an autonomous digital world: machines deciding and acting, continuously, without waiting for us. Security has to move at that pace or become the bottleneck — and a human cannot sit in front of every machine decision. Checks, decisions and enforcement must happen live, in the request path, and the policy must learn and adapt as fast as the workloads it protects. Self-adapting automation is not a feature; it is how security keeps up. Driverless cars carry half a million paying passengers a week today.2 **Autonomous protection is where security must go, and it is where Hexes is heading.**

_Today_

Feet on the ground: Hexes fits into the cloud infrastructure you already run — the Kubernetes platforms that hold your applications, your AI apps and your agents. Its engine is built into the Kubernetes-native path, where it can see, decide and act inline, at live speed: learn what each workload does, allow exactly that, block the rest. That is how Hexes protects digital assets with efficiency, at scale.

1 Gartner, Top Strategic Technology Trends for 2025, October 2024: 33% of enterprise software applications will include agentic AI by 2028 (from under 1% in 2024); at least 15% of day-to-day work decisions made autonomously. 2 Waymo, 2026: more than 500,000 paid, fully autonomous rides a week across 14 US cities.

_About Hexes Security:_ Hexes Security builds commercial cloud-workload security for Kubernetes: inline zero-trust enforcement at layer 7 — network, process and file — from policy learned from each workload (Learning → Watching → Enforcing). It is empowered by the NeuVector open-source project (Apache-2.0), which Hexes credits and respects, and extends that engine for eBPF, AI-agent and MCP traffic, and the software supply chain. Hexes is not open source, not a CSPM/CIEM, not a SIEM and not a CNI. NeuVector is a trademark of SUSE; Hexes is independent and not affiliated with SUSE.
